About us

Afractie is committed to combat poverty and to promote children’s rights in Senegal. We mainly focus on the talibé issues and underprivileged children in Senegal by the (financial) support of a shelter home in Yoff and a shelter-initiative for talibés in Thiès.

Afractie is a small organisation without lucrative purposes and exists merely of volunteers who want to engage themselves to offer more opportunities to the streetchildren of Senegal.

We don’t bother with strict rules and regulations, high expenses or bureaucracy. We do strive for correct operations, an open accounting and are engaged to offer a beter life and opportunities for these children.

Furthermore, we strongly advocate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s); as such that these form the basis of our own statutory goals.

Thanks to subsidies, sponsors and the organisation of many activities, we can ensure the monthly budget of the shelter home and other projects.
